MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS

This has been a huge year for the MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS. In November, the museum unveiled its gorgeous new 121,307-square-foot Art of the Americas Wing, part of a four-year-long renovation. "This is your museum," director Malcolm Rogers told the thousands of Bostonians who flooded the wing's free-to-the-public opening. At least one visitor liked the new space so much, he was inspired to give Rogers a bearhug of thanks.
