The motto at this Southie salon is “Rock Star Hair.” And rock it they do at SHAG, with a permanent disco ball, club lights, and a DJ setup. MTV (along with TLC, the Discovery Channel, and the Style Network) has featured the shop and its owner, the heavily tattooed Sandy Poirier. If that’s not a rock-star stamp of approval, than we don’t know what is.
