Mattapan Trolley at Cedar Grove Station

Boston has its share of inferiority complexes, but at least we have a lockdown on one category: no other community in the entire US of A can claim a graveyard trolley ride as scenic as ours. And sure, maybe that’s because the Cedar Grove Cemetery (bisected by the MATTAPAN TROLLEY AT CEDAR GROVE STATION) is — according to Ripley’s Believe It or Not — the nation’s only cemetery with a trolley running through it. But let’s not split hairs. Fact: we’ve pioneered the art of desecrating burial grounds with public transportation.
