Best New Giant Innuendo Hung Outside the State House

General Hooker Entrance

It’s always been an inconvenience for legislators to bring their prostitutes in through the rear entrance of the Massachusetts State House β€” those Beacon Hill streets can be treacherous in stiletto heels and cold weather. Fortunately, thanks to the ill-conceived new signage on Beacon Street touting the GENERAL HOOKERENTRANCE β€” and commemorating Revolutionary War General Joseph Hooker β€” the entire harem is now welcome through the front door. (Oh, and the equestrian statue of the good general was done by Daniel Chester French, who is better known for his sitting Lincoln in the Lincoln Memorial.)
