Bikes Not Bombs

We bought our used, chocolate-colored Raleigh at BIKES NOT BOMBS’s retail shop and it rules, but the local nonprofit does a hell of a lot more than sell bikes in JP. With the mindset that bikes are an alternative to war and environmental destruction, BNB works in Boston and around the world: it sent 441 bikes to Tanzania, as well as huge numbers of bikes, parts, and tools to South Africa, Ghana, and the Caribbean. Peace through pedaling — it’s not as much of a stretch as you might think.
