After a devastating fire last year took out six of our favorite neighborhood eateries on Peterborough Street in the Fenway, we have pined loudest and most frequently for the return of the authentic Mexican burrito joint EL PELÓN. And now, gracias a Dios, they’ve returned. Sure, they’re now closer to BC in Brighton than to Phoenix headquarters, but we can once again taste the pescado tacos, the horchata rice drink, and, claro que si, the El Guapo burrito, with its fire-roasted salsa and fried plantains giving it a taste like no other local burrito-ry.
