Best Place To Watch The World Cup

The Lansdowne Pub

In the upcoming iteration of the World Cup this summer in South Africa, you should know that the US will be pitted in the same group as the Brits. Which is to say that, if you’re going to root against the Limeys, you may as well do so in a bar that comes by its anti-Anglo sentiments honestly — one with Irish bona fides. Want credentials for THE LANSDOWNE PUB? Well, to kick off, it offers a Guinness beef pot pie, shepherd’s pie with soda bread and Irish butter, Irish stew, an Irish breakfast, and beers galore. Plus, football-wise, it will feature every World Cup match live on its screens — including those dastardly 7:30 am kickoffs.

are you insane. The Lansdown Pub is a joke. No real soccer fan will ever go there. Their food is terrible and there are many many many better soccer pubs in boston. Real fans will be at the Banshee in Dorchester or the Pheonix Landing in Cambridge. Lansdown Pub, what a **** joke.

What the fuck? Seriously? This is not a soccer bar. Banshee and Phoenix Landing are the best places for any soccer match.
