Few things sound less appetizing than ice cream made from plant matter, but — trust us — the offerings at CHRISTINA’S are a veritable Garden of Eatin’. The experimental excitations include fresh mint, for example, and fresh rose (which is like eating perfume — or petals). Pumpkin is available, of course, come fall. Lemongrass ain’t too tart. Adzuki bean has a subtle sweetness. They’re all creamy and thick and smooth and sweet and all the other descriptors of a parad-ice lost.
