There’s a cartoony exuberance to RAUL GONZALEZ’s work, particularly the work featuring his illustrated cartoon alter-ego, Cerebot. A member of art collective Miracle 5, a native Texan, and now a teacher and artist in Somerville, Gonzalez’s rock posters — for Mates of State and Via Audio, Heloise and the Savoir Faire, Tigersaw, and Cathy Cathodic — combine a loose and light comic-book style with something much more sinister.
