Owned and operated by an Italian father-son duo, Newbury Street's RICCARDI is famous for outfitting some of the world's wealthiest international students. But while there are plenty of beyond-budget-busting pieces from Dolce, Prada, Miu Miu, Dior, and Comme des Garcons, you don't have to be a jet-setting Euro-jerk, a pro athlete, or a nightlife lord to shop at this place. Instead, you can walk right past the in-your-dreams extravagances and head back to the denim wall, where you'll find one of the best jean selections in the city — along with 'tude-free specialists who'll help you find the perfect fit for your body type. Thankfully, not all the denim options cost a month's rent: a slew of brands are in the $150-to-$350 price range (think PRPS, AG, Ksubi, Nudie, Stitches, Superfine, and Neighborhood). Riccardi also carries Cheap Mondays, high-waisted skinny jeans that sell for less than 100 bucks. Any denim purchase gets free alterations, even if it's on the lower end of the spending spectrum. And if you're feeling like a big spender, opt for brightly colored embroidered Yoropiko jeans (out of Japan) for the bargain-basement price of $900.
