PUNJABI DHABA is Om, Om good. This unassuming spot takes repeat, though not consecutive, Phoenix Best Readers’ Poll honors for best Indian restaurant. And you don’t have to be a slumdog millionaire to see why. The Inman Square iteration of an Indian truck stop (we kid you not; a dhaba is a roadside café) has been serving affordable curries and yummy, authentic Punjabi-style chicken Tikka Masala for about 10 years. In keeping with the casual, roadside theme, Punjabi Dhaba serves food on steel trays and often blares Bollywood videos.
