We thought for sure this was the year a good ol’ Southie pub would take home our highly coveted title for best Irish bar. We thought wrong. THE BURREN, the Davis Square mainstay boasting a perfectly poured pint, weekly step-dancing classes (really), and cover bands to, well, beat the band, is your choice for paying homage to the Emerald Isle. Oh, and did we mention the weekend brunch complete with full Irish breakfast? Just did. It’s no wonder the Burren keeps even non-Irish eyes smiling.
