The Museum of Fine Arts
Though Boston is increasingly warming up to contemporary works or new artistic mediums, THE MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS is the world-class institution that remains this city’s favorite. The current exhibit of Venetian masters — “Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese: Rivals in Renaissance Venice” — is an internationally acclaimed blockbuster. Obviously, the museum is packed to the buttresses with treasures from all over the globe, and its film series, educational lectures, art classes, and musical performances make it something special.
