Amy Patt’s goal is to make women feel like princesses, and, having spent much of her life rubbing elbows with the glitterati, the former-socialite- turned-fashion-designer has a lot to draw on. But be assured, this woman is no Paris Hilton — Patt has talent. She’s developed BOSTON SOPHISTICATE, a whimsical couture line of fairytale-inspired skirts and handbags, using only superior vintage, salvaged, and last-run materials from around the world, whether they are disassembled kimonos or original Italian and Chinese silks. Semiprecious stones and genuine Swarovski pearls and crystals adorn each hand-stitched, one-of-a-kind garment and purse. The cherry on top: all packaging is eco-friendly.
