There is a magical place in nearly every city where you can buy clothes, bags, toiletries, snacks, luggage, video games, and office supplies at the same time without making you feel as gross as shopping at Wal-Mart. We adore TARGET because it’s cheap but not too cheap, large without being unbearable to navigate, and extremely handy when you need something specific yet also feel the urge to impulsively buy yourself inexpensive trinkets. Also: designer capsule collections, which aren’t always as amazing as they are in theory (still fun, though), Boots cosmetics (previously only available in the UK), and no-frills furniture that costs about as much new at Target as it would on Craigslist.
