Don’t get us wrong, there’s nothing wrong with TOMMY DOYLE’S IRISH PUB AND RESTAURANT in Harvard Square, but even a genuine alky awash in his own blarney would suspect the lads probably didn’t place first in 12 Best Readers’ Poll categories — including Best Seafood Restaurant and Best Wine List. Especially by margins in excess of 800 votes. Especially when those were write-in votes in categories where the place hadn’t been nominated, and all 800+ voters spelled the name “Doyles” without the apostrophe. We call foul. We call travesty. We call for another round . . . of voting. But we figured the place deserved some recognition.
