Leave it to Conor Oberst to take one of the more wistful love songs that he penned under the Bright Eyes moniker and make it sound like the final lament of a wounded bird. His trembling approach exposes someone so delicate that putting the song on a mix would fail epically because your lover would wonder why you weren’t just as sensitive.
