Maybe not all the post–Birthday Party works of everyone’s favorite Aussie qualify as “goth” (though his screenplay for an aborted remake of The Crow must be goth up to its tits). But this sparse, dusty, cautionary tale against seductive evil unsettles the least superstitious among us. Totally creepy equals totally goth.
