38. Southern Death Cult | "Fatman"
"Fatman" by Southern Death Cult from the album The Southern Death Cult (1988)
Before turning into an arena-ready singer, the Cult’s Ian Astbury was getting all political, and with “Fatman” he was busy directing his energy at the miscreants consumed by greed and on a capitalistic quest. Lyrically, it borders on protest/anti-corporate rock, but sonically it still manages to sound entirely goth.
