At times this list veers into EBM territory, and here German synthpop trio Beborn Beton drop the beats and melodies in dark pop unison on 1997’s death-obsessed “Another World.” Go to any goth/industrial club, and you’re bound to hear the unmistakable (and humorous) lyrics: “Don’t you worry/They won’t find my body/I want you to know/I found peace in another world.”
