New Order's entire career in some ways is a towering paean to indifference: above all, indifference to success and the way it warped them and their relationship with each other, which is maybe why they wrote a song about having nothing to regret called "Regret" that wound up being the last thing they did with each other for a decade. But oh, what gorgeous indifference.
