Despite losing all writing credits due to bullshit lawsuits levied by not one but two former Rolling Stones managers, this will remain, as Richard Ashcroft is never shy about boasting, a classic. Its instantly recognizable symphony strings transcend Britpop as a universal anthem, and the music video, of Ashcroft walking up a NYC street, remains iconic.
