“ ‘Guybrush Threepwood’? That’s the stupidest name I ever heard.” “Well, what’s your name?” “My name is Mancomb Seepgood.” Either you like this kind of cornball humor or you don’t. If not, I’m sorry to hear about your grim, joyless existence. But it’s not just the Marx Brothers-level joking that makes Monkey Island great. The game is packed with brain-busting puzzles that would make a Mensa member sweat, and one of the easier ones is figuring out what to do with a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle.
