Their primitive quest-for-fire id rock (led by front-goon Iggy Pop) made them the musical equivalent of thuggish British soccer hooligans from the apocalyptic future. | You probably are aware of the fact that STEVIE WONDER is blind (has been since infancy). Did you also know, though, that the man lost his sense of smell when, in a car accident with a logging truck, a log smashed through the windshield and hit him in the frickin’ face? I just called to say . . . what? Think about that: the prolific multi-instrumentalist with a voice like honey dabbed with sugar and candy on it was able to do all that he did with just three of his five senses. | DABRYE is a nom du producer for Ann Arbor’s Tadd Mullinix, who has enlisted various Detroit emcees to rap over his disquieting, industrial, and experimental beats.
