America is Bodega Girls on stage doing a motherfucking moonwalk across your Kool-Aid-smile face. For a city that seems to have chilled the eff out the past few years and rededicated itself to having f-u-n, it's no surprise that Boston's best party-starters, party-maintainers, and party-finishers take home Best Live Act in this year's BMP. Holding court the last Wednesday of each month at their Cool Ranch dance party at Middlesex Lounge, Bodega Girls' rock-out soul-shag ass-shaking approach to playing live is simple: just lose your mind to the music and become one with the party.
